The Carbon Tail 3 Pack is Clifford Coetzer's approach to letting you dial in exactly the right stabilizer feel for your riding style. Same cutting-edge outline across all three tails, but with three completely different foil profiles — one for back-footed riders, one for neutral, and one for front-footed. Shim each one to the conditions and discover which profile unlocks your best riding.

Once you find your favorite, the other two become your personal R&D lab. Sand them down in the chop shop and experiment with different sizes and profiles. It's the cheapest way to learn more about how your foil works — and you might accidentally build your perfect tail in the process.

Models

Shank — Back-footed. Symmetrical 50/50 foil profile. Built for riders who ride with weight over the back foot and want the tail to carry more of the load. Stable and predictable under rear-foot pressure.

Shiv — Neutral. Flat/asymmetrical foil profile. The most popular tail of the three — balanced pressure, versatile across disciplines, and the tail that eventually evolved into the Progression tail series.

Shunt — Front-footed. Reflex/inside foil profile. Built for riders who drive from the front foot and want a tail that stays out of the way. Looser feel, quicker release through turns.
