Alphlexo Crab™

Originally designed for fly fishing The Seychelles, the Alphlexo Crab has become a must-have fly for targeting saltwater species such as bonefish and permit worldwide.

These are the genuine Alphlexo Crabs that are produced in South Africa for lodge operations in The Seychelles. The unique body design of the Alphexo Crab is achieved by tying them with our  Body Tubing material.

Tungsten and bead chain weights in the flies allow you to achieve different sink rates for different fishing situations. For example, in really shallow water on the flats a light Alphlexo Crab would be ideal as it sinks slower and is quieter when it hits the water. Conversely, a heavy Alphlexo Crab is ideal for deeper water where the fly needs to get down quicker, for example, when redfish fishing. 

All the Alphlexo Crabs come with a weed guard as standard. You have the option to cut it off if you are fishing in a weedless area.
